    We are proud to present our second release at Vernacular, a CD with solos and duos from Colin Webster & David Birchall.

    This album captures a concert at the end of May 2015 with both musicians laying down solo music before playing some vital duos together. Having worked previously/since in trio and quartet variously with Andrew Cheetham, Otto Willberg and Rogier Smal this recording captures in open detail the guitar/saxophone interaction which is one of the key elements that mark out the larger groups.

    As with all Vernacular releases the CD comes with a cover image based on sound drawing on the audio by David, housed in carefully designed and handprinted letterpressed packaging made by the Cleeve Press in Leicester.
